In the family for years since new, and stored away for the
last 20 years this one of a kind racing runabout designed by Switzer Craft
of Crystal lake IL known as a Shooting Star-1953 is being restored to its
orignal condition.

With deck stripped work starts. Orignal colors
deck will be stained red mohogany with 11
coats spar varnish.
Sides will be white and the bottom will be
red.
Completly sanded ready for sealer and
red mohogony stain
Finish coats except transome, adding trim and
orignal ducals.
