Fox River Valley Boat Company was established in 1929 by two brothers, Jim and Larry Rothmal.

My father, Don Wagner bought the company from the Rothmal’s in 1970. My dad started
teaching me and the staff from day one about detail (the little things) that make Fox River
Valley Boat restorations and service stand out. When I started down at the boat shop
at the age of six, I had no idea that forty years later God would give me such a
passion and love we have for these wood boats. So take some time and tour this family
owned company that’s been through all kinds of economic times for forty years and is still
thriving because of the old principles we were taught.
